1.1.1 - Handling conflicts, on personal reflection, and taking advantage of pain.
Issue #16, 8th December 2022
🎨 Visual
This week’s visual is different from what I have shared so far. It is not just a 1-pager but a carousel of practical things you can do to handle conflicts in any of your relationships - your family, friends, workmates or partner.
📚 Quote
Diarist Anne Frank on personal reflection,
“How noble and good everyone could be if, every evening before falling asleep, they were to recall to mind the events of the whole day and consider exactly what has been good and bad. Then, without realizing it, you try to improve yourself at the start of each new day; of course, you achieve quite a lot in the course of time.”

Using pain to your advantage : A comment by a redditor @createquantumwealth
This is the first time I have shared content from Reddit. But, the comment made so much sense that I thought to myself, “I don’t always have to share content of established people, right?”
Even a thought from some random person can help change your perspective in a good way.
Here’s my favourite part from the comment,
“So it comes down to choosing your pain. You're already in pain. Why not choose the pain that changes you for the better? Or do you want to keep suffering the way you're suffering now?………The pain of discipline is always less than the pain of regret.”
Have a good week, and remember to take it easy! 🤍
Thanks for reading this week’s issue of 1.1.1. If you enjoyed what you read, I’d really appreciate it if you could forward it to a friend, family member, or colleague who you think might like it too.
Or, if you'd like to share it on one of your social networks, that’s always great as well.
Until next week,
