1.1.1 - Enjoying the journey, the process of improvement, and asking better questions
Issue #5, 6th September 2022
🎨 Visual

Here’s my first thought after examining this visual,
What if you REALLY need that pot of gold and not care about the rainbow? 🌈
i.e. what if you want to get to the destination as quick as possible, and not really care about the journey.
Well, that’s alright. To each, their own goals matter. Assuming you achieved your goal, what next? 🤔
There’s going to be another goal. Just after that, another one. There’s always going to be more problems to solve and numerous goals to achieve.
This whole process of chasing goals and moving on to the next can get quickly tiring.
Embrace those little moments in your journey. Even if you don’t reach your destination, you can cherish the experience. ✨
Let me know what you think in the comments!
📚 Quote
Science writer and producer Ann Druyan on the process of improvement,
“Test ideas by experiment and observation. Build on those ideas that pass the test. Reject the ones that fail. Follow the evidence wherever it leads. And question everything, including authority. Do these things and the cosmos is yours.”
